Philosophy
That may sound a bit overblown at first sight. But our desire to cook comes from the heart. We love our work and strive to prepare an unforgettable meal in an unforgettable environment for our guests.
Nothing reflects this more than the selection of our ingredients. We concentrate on freshness and highest quality. This starts with the big picture and ends with the smallest details. For this we completely forgo convenience products. From the pumpkin soup to aioli and dressings for salads, everything is freshly prepared by us.
Furthermore, there are almost no deep-frozen raw-materials. That’s why we offer the black seabream only in april, when it passes the island. Our suppliers deliver fresh meat and fresh fish daily and there is no deep-freezing anything in our kitchen, the only exception being shrimp. Herbs are harvested in our own garden which is located just next to our terrace.
Of course due to these guidelines we put a lot more work and money into our foods than in many other restaurants. Yet through a long-time network of suppliers we are still able to offer this quality to a reasonable price.
Until now our concept was a huge success. In only 2 years we gained a lot of regular customers with some of them coming from the farthest corners of the island just to visit us. If you are not yet one of our regular guests we would be glad to soon welcome you in our restaurant.
